[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Embers is back just like a comforting cable-knit jumper. (AND IT’S JUST WON A SILVER SIBA AWARD!!!)

As the trees drop their leaves and the nights draw in, this amber ale will keep you properly toasty. Bramling Cross is a hop as British as our Bishop, as earthy as a golden harvest and as smooth as runny honey.  So pull up a pew, fill up your tankards and savour this bonfire of a beer.

Embers is available in cask and 500ml bottles across our outlets, online and in our brewery shop on East Street, Braintree.  Don’t leave it too late to order yours![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Revelry (4.5%)

Revelry (4.5%)

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Have you tried our latest Limited Edition Revelry a dark golden ale at 4.5%?

With hops packed in like tents at Glastonbury, Revelry is a full-bodied boisterous festival of a beer. It doesn’t matter if the sun isn’t shining at this summer bash. We’ve got the tropical passionfruit flavours of New Zealand hop Rakau with the refreshing citrus twist of British Archer hops. Go nab the last deckchair!

Available in 500ml bottles from our outlets across Essex or purchase online through our website and from our shop on East Street, Braintree, from Monday.

Revelry has been brewed for the 1st time this summer. It sold out extremely quickly in cask.  Our regulars snapped it up and it went down well at our Revelry Day on 21st June.  Grab some bottles while they last so that you can enjoy a refreshing summer pint at your parties, festivals and BBQ’s over the holidays.

We’ve not used Rakau in our grist before but we wanted Revelry to stand out. The tropical flavours of New Zealand give Revelry a touch of summer fruit salad and tossed with citrusy British Archer hops this was always going to be a thirst quenching pint with enough punch to liven up your pool party.

Tell us what you think, by sharing your comments, and your pictures of you revelling the summer away with Bishop Nick on our Facebook page. If Revelry receives the thumbs up then we may bring it back next year!

Here’s to a summer full of Revelry![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Dark Mild

Dark Mild

Have you tried our latest Limited Edition, Dark Mild (3.7%)?

Aptly named, but not to be underestimated. Here’s one magnificent Mild.  Intense, dark and devilishly moreish, this smooth British classic is dominated by Chocolate Malt.

Easy on the hops but amply dry, this refreshing brew will keep you coming back.

CAMRA promotes mild throughout May.  We give you Dark Mild as our offering.

In cask at outlets across Essex throughout May and into June.  Also in 500ml bottles at selected stores, online and from our shop at 33 East Street, Braintree.

What is MILD?

Milds are black to dark brown to pale amber in colour and come in a variety of styles from warming roasty ales to light refreshing lunchtime thirst quenchers.  Malty and possibly sweet tones dominate the flavour profile but there may be a light hop flavour or aroma.  Alcohol levels are typically low.

All hail Real Ale
