Bishop Nick takes up new residence

To celebrate our second anniversary in business we have invested in a new 20 barrel brewhouse and have moved to Braintree.

Conveniently located between Freeport and the town centre we are a stones throw from the site where Ridleys used to have a Maltings. So we feel at home. We believe we’re the first registered commercial brewery in Braintree, Essex. We are committed to producing quality ales and are now better able to meet the demands of the Essex free-trade. We look forward to casting our net further afield in East Anglia and beyond.

No longer so restricted by capacity, we plan, this winter, to launch a seasonal range to complement our three core beers. And the wheels are in motion to get bottling too. George Cullen is now full-time as our Assistant Brewer. He’s got his work cut out for him!
