Job Description
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
Hours: Full-Time 9am-4.30pm (Mon-Fri)
Must have:
Recent administrative experience
Current Microsoft Office (proficient in latest word/excel)
Ability to learn new IT software package
Strong and accurate typing skills
Interpersonal social skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of/interest in Real Ale industry
Experience of basic financial data inputting (Quickbooks or similar software)
Tele-Sales experience
Duties include:
Brew tracking & administration
Populate and keep up to date the brewery management system (training provided)
Updating brew schedule, adding new products, new stock, new orders, printing dispatch paperwork and keeping on top of contact database.
Tele-sales
Work through a regular call list to take orders from trade customers (pubs and bottle stockists) and process in-coming orders by phone and e-mail.
Online sales
Fulfilment of all online sales – prepare packages for collection, delivery and booking couriers for national shipping.
Office Management
Filing and general office administration – keep good order at all times.
Ordering stationery and office supplies.
Answer incoming calls – handle/field as necessary.
Personal Assistance Administrative assistance for the brewery directors/marketing director as required.
Shop Take card and cash payment for items purchased in the brewery shop, record sales and stock the shelves ensuring the space is presentable and attractive at all times.
Brewery tours Co-ordinate hospitality for on-site Brew Day Experiences and brewery tours.
Domestic area All the team take collective responsibility for the cleanliness and tidiness of domestic areas including kitchenette and loos. The Brewery Administrator to keep an eye on stock levels of paper towels, tea & coffee etc…
Events Assist in planning of on-site brewery events such as annual Father’s Day event (Revelry Day). Duties may include staffing on-site events, tours and off-site festivals where Bishop Nick has an official presence.
Ideal candidate
This person will have good interpersonal skills, a sense of humour, an excellent telephone manner and be super organized and efficient, inclined to use initiative and be flexible and reliable.
• This post is full-time & permanent. Salary payable monthly. Annual leave 28 days including Bank Holidays.
