Chelmsford Beer and Cider Festival

We're on countdown to the annual Summer CAMRA Chelmsford Beer and Cider Festival at Admirals Park in Chelmsford.  This summer highlight in the Real Ale calendar runs from Tues 5th July through to Saturday 9th July from 12noon - 2300.  Find out more here.

Brewery Bar

Bishop Nick will be hosting their own independent brewery bar again so come and see us and our fellow Essex brewers in the tent.

We will be launching our new Stout at the Summer Chelmsford Beer and Cider Festival.  DEVOUT (5.3%) is a smooth dark beer packed with rich malt flavours balanced with sweet toffee and bitter chocolate deliciousness.  Come and judge for yourself but we're pretty sure you'll love it.

We'll also have FETE (4.5%) on the bar if you've not tried it.  This rich golden ale has proven to be extremely popular summer choice.  Now available in bottle but bit thin on the ground in cask now.  It's a 'grab it before it's gone' Limited Edition after all.

The Summer Chelmsford Beer and Cider Festival has always been a high point in the year for real ale enthusiasts, but when it was first held back in July 1977, and for some years afterwards, it was very different to the festival you know and love today.  Read more about it here...
